This talk takes issue with the claim implicit in the title of Stevan Little's talk at the January 2013 Orlando Perl Workshop. The extent to which the the extent to which the internals of a computer language impede its evolution is important, but ultimately just an implementation detail. What matters is the vitality of the human community using the language.
