Due to vigilance around COVID-19, the organizers have decided to cancel the 2020 workshop and hackathon/community day. If you paid for your ticket, we will be refunding your purchase. We hope to see you at the next DCBPW, anticipated to be held in the Spring of 2021.
We are exploring other ways to celebrate the Perlyglot community this year, so please follow us on Twitter (@dcbpw) and check back here to stay up-to-date!
The DC-Baltimore Perlyglot Workshop is a two-day technical conference. The first day typically includes two concurrent sessions of talks by volunteers, covering Perl and other programming languages and related technologies. The second day offers an open code hacking day for learning, exploration, and collaboration for attendees to dig into everything tech has to offer.
The DC-Baltimore Perlyglot Workshop 2020 event will be held on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19 in Baltimore, MD.

The Call for Presentations is open for DCBPW! Be it your first talk or one of many, DCBPW is a great place to present! We are eager to hear your ideas on not just Perl and Raku but all programming topics! Submit your idea today!

*Drum roll, please* ... We have selected The Johns Hopkins University* in Baltimore, Maryland as our 2020 workshop venue.Save the date! The DC-Baltimore Perlyglot Workshop will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020 and an open code hacking day will follow on Sunday, April 19, 2020.

Hello again! This is just a quick notice that, yes, we're on target for a 2020 DCBPW in early april in the Baltimore area. At just an early stage, we have not yet absolutely decided on the venue, and we'll do that before we start recommending and/or making arrangements with the nearest hotels. Still, we wanted to let you know. Check back here for updates.
